SASO's Branch in Makkah Organizes a Workshop on the Correct Methods of Withdrawing Samples and Reading their Technical Reports

 
 

SASO's branch in Makkah organized a workshop on (Spreading Awareness on the Correct Methods of Withdrawing Samples and Reading their Reports) on Thursday 12/05/2016 AH, in the main hall . The workshop targeted employees of concerned government bodies, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Saudi Customs and municipalities. 

Mr. Mutlaq bin Raji Altayari, Director General of  Makkah's branch, welcomed all attendees and called everyone to interact in this important workshop and to enrich the discussion with what is useful for this event, in order to serve the nation, the consumer and the market. 

The workshop was attended by, the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment in Makkah, Eng. Abdul'ilah bin Masheet, in addition to employees of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and the Saudi Customs.

The workshop introduced the participants to procedures and methods of withdrawing samples, followed by control officers and market observers, in addition to methods of their preservation, circulation and preparation.

      Furthermore, attendees were introduced to the Energy Efficiency program for electrical appliances, how to read efficiency labels, their monitoring standards and the Saudi standard specifications. In addition, they learned about the optimal way of using them, Quality mark, "Verify" application for smart devices, technical reports, tests, work mechanisms in labs, and report reading. 

        This workshop came as a continuation to the partnership between SASO's branch in Makkah and other concerned bodies, due to the importance of continuous improving and developing of provided services and raising the level of performance.
