Governor of SASO Visits Eastern Province Branch and meets Secretary of the Region
Governor of SASO, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al kasabi has paid a visit to SASO's branch in the Eastern Province. Through which he checked the workflow, and met his Excellency Secretary of the region Eng. Fahad bin Mohammed Aljubair.
During his visit, the Governor viewed the services offered by the branch to the Eastern Province. He also did an inspection tour on the branch's laboratories to check their readiness to meet the requirements of the beneficiaries in the region, through testing the samples received by the branch or withdrawn from the market within a yearly plan, and the mechanisms used to ensure their conformity with the approved Saudi standard specifications. During the tour, Dr. Al kasabi met the employees of the branch and listened to their views, aspirations and suggestions to improve the performance of the organization in order to achieve the Kingdom's mission of Quality.
In this regard, Governor of SASO discussed with the Secretary of the Eastern Province ways of enhancing and developing joint cooperation between the Secretariat and SASO. He also commended the established cooperation between the Secretariat and SASO in some areas. The two parties also discussed the issue of lands allocated to SASO and how to make good use of them.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Eastern Province branch Mr. Tamis bin Ali Alhammadi, the Deputy Secretary of the Eastern Province for projects and construction Eng. Jamal bin Nasser Almelhim, the Deputy Secretary for Services Eng. Abdullah bin Ali Alqarni, the Deputy Secretary for projects and construction Eng. Faisal bin Abdullah Althani , as well as the Director of the Urban Planning General Directorate Eng. Mazin bin Adil Bakhraji, and the Director General of the Department of Public Relations and Media Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Alsufayan.
By the end of the meeting, the Governor presented a commemorative shield to the Secretary of the region in return for the efforts of the Secretariat in various fields.
