SASO Qualifies Consumer Protection Association for Quality Management System: ISO 9001
 



      SASO organizes a special workshop to qualify Consumer Protection Association (CPA), for quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015, in the framework of cooperation efforts between the two sides to activate and promote scientific practices in the field of quality systems. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Yahya Al Qahtani, Secretary General of CPA; Abdulaziz bin Mohammad Al-Saeed, Deputy Secretary General of CPA; and a number of officials and employees of CPA participated in the workshop.   

     The workshop, which started today and will last for three days, will witness a number of activities to clarify the general framework for applying quality systems, application mechanisms, and ways to benefit from them. The workshop also includes a variety of lectures and seminars to work towards reaching a clear and accurate vision about the current status of CPA, in terms of applying the quality system and future prospects to develop working method. 

     For his part, Secretary General of CPA, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani, praised the distinguished efforts exerted by SASO to consolidate and promote quality practices and applications in various institutions, through these activities and others. He stressed the keenness of CPA to adopt scientific methodologies, in order to achieve better and more efficient performance in various administrative aspects at CPA.

     Eng. Saud Al-Shabanat stressed that SASO is keen to provide all means of support to various institutions to work on the implementation and activation of quality systems, so as to be an institutional mechanism and work methodology within all institutions. He stressed that SASO is moving forwards in the implementation of its strategy, aimed at promoting and spreading quality culture in the Kingdom.
