 Market Access

The department facilitates the procedures for clearing consignments by issuing a consignment Certificate of Conformity for products that are not intended for direct consumer display. This certificate is issued to enforce their entry into the market, whether they are personal items, raw materials, production inputs for factories, incoming shipments for contracted companies with government bodies, or for government projects. The issuance of Certificate of Conformity is contingent upon verifying their compliance with technical requirements and standards, as well as ensuring the accuracy of the enclosed documents to issue a consignment Certificate of Conformity.
The department also reviews the technical files attached to incoming shipments, such as trailers, heavy equipment, caravans, and textile products.

The department is divided into two sections:

Permit Clearance  section: This department is responsible for issuing a consignment Certificate of Conformity for products that are not intended for direct consumer display.
Sample Evaluation  section: This department reviews the technical files attached to incoming shipments, such as trailers, heavy equipment, caravans, and textile products. They ensure compliance with the specified requirements.
