Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Food & Drug Authority hosts the 1st International Conference on Halal Food Control & Exhibition.

The conference will bring together researchers and interested representatives of various control and statutory bodies from all around the world, especially the Islamic one. It will also incorporate concerned international organizations and private institutions to discuss this vital subject and come up with recommendations which can enhance global trade and harmonization of Halal Food requirements, conditions and control methods.
Halal Food exhibition will be held during the conference to provide interested participants with the latest developments in the field of Halal Food. Exhibitors from public and private sectors as well as international organizations are expected to take part, representing different food factories, and companies involved in food analysis and equipment. In addition organizations concerned with Halal Food at national and international levels are expected to participate.
