SASO Governor Chairs KSA Delegation to SMIIC Meetings
SASO Governor, Dr. Sa'ad bin Othman Al-Kasabi, chaired the delegation of Saudi Arabia to SMIIC meetings held during the period 16-17 of Sha'ban, 1437 H, corresponding to 23-24 of May, 2016, in the Republic of Turkey.
SASO Governor participated as a vice-chairman of SMIIC Board of Directors for the Arab region in the 12th Board of Directors meeting in addition to the 9th General Assembly meeting.
The two meetings addressed many important topics, such as the strategic plan of SMIIC and its activities in different standardization fields. The financial and administrative reports were also reviewed in the meetings. Furthermore, many decisions that enhance the advancement of SMIIC and member states and that benefit the standardization process in Islamic states in general were issued at the meetings.
