With reference to the approval issuance of the Kingdom's budget for 2021, the Governor of Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), conveyed the assurances of his highest consideration and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense -may Allah protect them.

In view of the negative consequences due to spread of COVID-19, Al Kasabi expressed his pride of the Kingdom's capabilities to continue enhancing and improving of government efficiency of performance and expenditure, referring that Kingdom's economic and financial excellece was reflected in all sectors’ performance upon facing such pandemic in addition to strengthening the position of Saudi Arabia as one of the top-performing G20 economies this year.

In addition, the Governor commends the role of the health sector, indicating that this is one of the main pillars and humanitarian aspects that the Kingdom handled since its establishment. Also, he added that the Saudi government is seriously recognizing the size of the economic challenges facing the world and has taken the necessary proactive and corrective measures at appropriate times in a manner that has been positively reflected in the 2021 budget.

Al Kasabi expressed his hopes that 2021 will be a starting point for Saudi economic growth that will contribute to support government efforts which in turn contribute to support governmental efforts to limit economic deflation as a result of COVID-19 pandemic, so as to continue its strong economic presence at the regional and global level.

Lastly, the Governor of SASO wished that the Kingdom, its leadership and people enjoy living in security, stability, and prosperity.
